This service manual descnibes the service procedures for the ST1300/ ST1300A.
Follow Ihe Maintenance Schedule (Section 3) recommendalions 10 ensure thal the vehicls is in peak operating condition and emission levels are withln the standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, California Air Resources Board and Transpon Canada.
Perdoming the first scheduled maintenance is very important. It compensates lor the initial wear that occurs during the break-in period.
Sections 1 and 3 apply to the whole motorcycle. Section 2 illustrates procedures for removavinstallation of components that may be required to pertorm service descibed in the following sections. Seclion 4 through 23 descrnibe parts of the motorcycle, grouped according to location.
